Dimitris Kandris Fitness History at a glance with the more important makes of his Professional Life.

Travel to  Success….

  • 1985   has been given his first course in a packed Academic gym according to the help of Mrs Tzjovani. At that time Dimitris Kandri’s was student in the Mathematic department of the University Athens.

  •   1987  met with Mrs Helen Wynn. A Greek – American citizen and Aerobics Instructor and gave him the first backgrounds for teaching a safe Low Impact exercise.

  • 1988   has become a member of International Dance Exercise Association  (IDEA) and he  prepared for the diploma ACE.

  • 1989    joints in the team of presenters of Pan-Hellenic Association Aerobic        which organized the first seminars for other Fitness Professionals. 

  • 1990    year of his first trip to U.S.A in SAN DIEGO where he attended the World Fitness IDEA. Since then, he has been taught the Brick Bodies principles for teaching Aerobics with Lynne Brick.

  • 1992    holds his diploma from A.C.E and becomes ACE group fitness certified.

  • 1993    founded his own seminars of continuing education for Fitness professional “Kandris Fitness Training” 

  •  1995    has been selected as the first Greek resident Athens who teaches in the World Fitness IDEA. In 1996 & 1997, he represents Greece , and obtains a great deal of positive feedback.

  • 1997        Some of his workshops have been approved by A.C.E for continuing education credits for the Group Fitness Instructor renewal certification.

  •  SEPTEMBER 1998         Introduces his new “RHYTHMIC AERO BIKING PRO” fitness program for those who love music, rhythm and indoor group bikin’ 

  •  

  •         SEPTEMBER 1999  Introduces his TOTAL POWER BODY workout “KI.BO FIT AIR” which includes moves that mimic karate, kick box e.t.c, music and choreography (this is not a pure martial art base class!!) 

  •         GREECE 2000 KANDRIS FITNESS TRAINING TEAM RESEARCH AND PUBLISHING OF THE NEW GUIDELINES FOR TEACHING HI-LOW & STEP CHOREOGRAPHY!! 

  •         SEPTEMBER 2001 He presents the first GREEK PRE CHOREOGRAPH POWER PROGRAM using music, barbells, dumbbells & step “L.I.F.T” 

  •         2002  He is one of the nominees for the A.C.E group fitness instructor of the year 2003

  •         FALL 2002 He is working on a new MIND&BODY FITNESS TRAINING PROGRAM utilizing dynamic YOGA poses, special relaxing music, breathing techniques and more!!!! 

  •         FALL 2002 COMBO STRENGTH is the latest in HI-LOW Choreography and Group strength training using TUBES and Pilates power mat work

  •  FALL 2002 ABS MAX  20 minutes is a non stop core training class utilizing the pilates mat concept and some old fashioned exercises that sculpt the Abdominals and strengthen the lower spine
